 Patience

As the patient clock ticks away, tick tock tick tock...the feeling of sadness grows with each touch of the timeline...distance takes you farther way...time makes it disappear..forget me once...it is forgiven...forget me twice...it is hard....forget me a third time...I forget you back...forever it goes on and forever we forget...then one day it rushes back and the walls fall down and the water flows....the struggle begins to replace the sections destroyed.....but there is nothing strong enough for that repair....nothing to hold what has washed through fingers and hearts and...minds....purging....pulling....throwing...screaming...does it always go on for this one feeling? The time has taken away what was once so important..replacing it with a scavanger of desires....drawing in the moments of past that are gone...wondering how the future plays into now....and to come...how to be patient like the clock....tick tock tick tock....my emotions grow again...gathering in strength....building up my wall...taller...faster....forever....you smile at the picture...ahhh what time has made...let no one surrender..patience....

 *This is Where..

This is where I close my eyes and dream of what is beyond..
I see the water and the tide...the sea I left behind....
and I want to touch you even more...

This is where I close my eyes and dream of what is to come...
I see the waves of lustful pride..the ones you think to show..
and I want to touch you even more...

This is where I close my eyes and dream of what I see...
I see the face of a smiling friend....the one whom I'll never know..
and I want to touch you even more...

This is where I close my eyes and dream of this dream I've made...
I see the color of love and hate...the ones that keep me real...
and I want to touch you No more....

This is where I close my eyes....and the tears begin to flow..

 He is Unique

"Robert, make sure that is handled now"
Hello there...how was your day?
"No Robert, I don't need to talk to her...make sure she handles everything"
Is everything Ok?
" I am on the phone right now Robert"
I am so tired. I have been up for 3 days now. I have so much still to do and I just am so tired.
Go to bed when you are traveling again. Make sure you get to close your eyes.
You know I want to. I have a proposal in the morning that I must prepare for.
Do it in your sleep...you have done that before.....
You know Robert sounds like Jeff and it is sort of creepy.
Let me talk to him and I will tell you if he does.
"Robert...take the phone and talk to the person on it for me...just take it."
Hello?
Hi Robert, How are you?
I am good.
Where are you from? I hear an accent?
Australia. Been here for 15 years now.
How long have you worked for him?
About 3 weeks now.
What do you think of him?
He is......he is very unique.
Just smile...and tell him Yes Sir....
Ohhh yes...that I will do...
I am harmless to you....he is a great guy...you will see...
Thank you for talking to me Robert.
Sure...anytime...
Hello?
Well?
He sounds like YOU...not Jeff.
What do you mean?
He sounds like you if you were a teenager.
Hehehee....Okay???
If he sounded like Jeff...It would have hit me creepy too...I did not feel it...he is ok...He will not harm you.

Ahhhh....thank you for that....sleep my friend...remember that I am here when you need me....

I know you are...Your husband is a lucky man you know....
Yes...I know.

 The Great White Ship

The great white ship sailed in to view...
Bring on a fall like hue....
Out came liquid arms of gold...
Tender feelings of friendship bold...
Take me to your great white ship...
Open the cabins and show me in....
Oh fair, I say not now...
For it is not ready for a lady of thine...
I caress the sides and the wood divine...
As you lean in to me and wrap us entwined...
Take me to your great white ship…
Open your heart and hold me in….
The rattle and hum of those left behind….
Bring back you from your heavenly grind…
I must go but I will return…
And with it will come more time than blur…
Take me to your great white ship….
With friendship greetings and a kiss in the wind……
Show me….hold me…and come again….

Long Distance Relationships will Kill you....

I heard that song from a group of little children...how would they know that something like that is what people my age struggle with every day..........whether a plane...a car....a mile....a lifetime...long distances can kill you...or kill your emotions....what you think is strong.....dies through the distance...what you think is love...is merely infatuation for a thought....long distance relationships will kill you.....long distance relationships will kill you....but I want to know it again...........I am guessing that if a friendship can withstand the time apart....the distace between meeting....why not keep hope that there is more in life than a touch...that just thinking about someone can bring a smile to your heart.........sometimes that is enough...........

sometimes...
